Üzeyir Kara

After his graduation from Hacettepe University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Üzeyir Kara has served professionally in the fields of tax, audit and advisory for more than 30 years. He started his career as an Income Controller within the Ministry of Finance of Turkey. After 8 years of government service, he has served as Partner and Sworn-in Certified Public Accountant for several Audit/CPA Companies. Currently, He continues his services at Bora Denetim YMM A.Ş. which had been established by him in 2008. Üzeyir Kara has joined CNS as Audit Partner in 2019.

Üzeyir has worked in various tax consultancy, tax disputes and audit projects of leading companies of Turkey. He has deep expertise and experience especially in tax law, financial consultancy, tax disputes and tax auditing.

Apart from his professional services, Kara writes for various refereed journals in the fields of accounting, tax and auditing. He speaks English fluently.
